Asbury Grove Trolley and Station

The late 19th century and early 20th century were high times for Asbury Grove as a fully operational summer community, with activities and facilities serving people beyond just the Camp Meeting Week. A check came to that progress after a large fire swept through the Grove in 1927, destroying nearly half of the cottages.  The timing right before the Depression threatened the existence of Asbury Grove, but important community members persevered, and the Grove survived.
